? Manage the company?s supervisors (6 Leads) by developing, organizing, directing, and providing formal and informal feedback to develop those employees and to effectively and efficiently achieve department goals.
•Manage warehouse to meet company objectives related to shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and associated functions in support of sales and customer needs including hiring employees for the operation, setting motivating goals and objectives for supervisory and office personnel, and providing formal and informal feedback as needed to develop those employees.
•Develop and maintain open, proactive, and constructive communication with Sales and Administrative personnel to facilitate the effective and timely fulfillment of customer orders and to quickly resolve issues within and between departments.
•Plan, organize, and control all aspects of the warehouse operation. Communicate company approved processes, goals, and expectations to all employees within the department. Monitor departmental efficiency and effectiveness and make operational changes as needed to improve them. Schedule labor and production for efficiency and cost effectiveness.
•Maintain the health, safety, cleanliness, and security of the building and staff. Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure compliance with all food safety and OSHA rules and regulations. Coordinate with administrative and human resource department personnel on these programs.
•Enforce warehouse safety regulations by ensuring that shift leaders are trained in company safety policies. Validate that these policies are being communicated to all warehouse employees, and that employees are monitored regularly and held accountable for violations of company safety rules.
•Coordinate and communicate with Supervisors during shift change regarding staffing, pending orders, pending receivings, and other critical shift information.
•Ensure that all paperwork is filled out to company standards including warehouse documentation, attendance reports, disciplinary feedback forms, and safety accident reporting.
