Vice President of Retail Sales

The VP, Sales Retail Business Development will lead the development and implementation of Key Account retail business strategies that align with the company's strategic marketing, sales, category and brand portfolio initiatives. Overall responsibilities include the development and execution of Key Account retail brick mortar online - business plans, programs, promotions, promotional spends, and a 365 business that maximizes key account retail growth opportunities. Key Account Retail Strategy Development - Lead the development and execution of strategic business plans that identify growth opportunities across all product categories that secure retailer floor and online space to meet or exceed company's Retailer and wholesaler revenue goals. Key Account Program Selling and Implementation - Lead the development of Key Account retail presentations that support the sell-in and execution of the company's key retail initiatives, revenue goals and merchandising strategies across all lines of business; Utilize fact-based sales analysis to assist in planning and selling to negotiate and gain retailer agreement to implement programs and secure incremental retail floor and online space and marketing support; Analyze all programs post mortem to identify key learnings and to influence future strategies and programs. Key Account Relationship Building - Develop and maintain senior level relationships with all key retailers Key Account Fiscal Responsibility - Determine and monitor retail budget allocations ensuring cost, resources and time invested are justified by incremental sales and/or strategic benefits gained on a project and consumer level

Job Requirements

? Deep expertise in the Retail, Wholesale Club, and Specialty Store industries minimum 7-10 years' experience ? Must have extensive CPG, home d?cor, or relevant sales experience with the proven background in delivering sales growth ? Ability to qualify leads, develop opportunities and build relationships ? Must be a closer ? Great communication and presentation skills both internally and externally ? Thought leader who is strategic, driven, and entrepreneurial ?
