Vice President of Human Resources

Compensation: $100000.00 to $130000.00 yearly

A Robert Half client in Tampa is hiring for a VP of Human Resources on a full-time, direct-hire basis.

This position will be responsible for the following:
1. Managing the talent acquisition process from beginning to end including sourcing, interviewing, hiring and onboarding of candidates
2. Carrying out performance reviews on all employees and providing oversight and guidance on improving employee performance
3. Managing the payroll process that includes inputting and verifying time and sending to third party for processing
4. Ensuring employees understand and follow all company HR policies and procedures and handles all employee inquiries related to HR policy
5. Providing oversight on all benefits-related processes and answers employee inquiries related to benefits including open enrollment
6. Carries out employee terminations as required
7. Assists with other company projects as required which may include some tasks outside of HR

Job Requirements

Position Requirements:
1. Previous experience in a Director of HR or VP of HR role
2. Bachelor’s degree in a related field
3. Must be knowledgeable with using HRIS systems
4. Must possess positive personality and work well with other team members and employees
5. Must be familiar with federal and state employment laws and regulations
