US Process and IT Project Manager

Plan, follow-up and deliver Process IT projects or subprojects with high complexity and/or several related projects for a major delivery according to agreed scope, budget, time plan and quality. This position is a key role to support identified industrial projects and the deployment of global processes and systems The Supplier Compliance Project Manager role supports a temporary project/program organization, which will deliver a unique product or service. The work is limited in time with a definite beginning and end. The project is also limited in cost and accomplished within a defined scope. A project may cross organizational boundaries when it comes to stakeholders and deliveries in different countries, sites or units. Supplier Compliance PM role is responsible for supporting the project/program team in its deliveries. The role, responsibilities, and authorities include a larger, global and more complex implementation requiring experience from most of the project management disciplines and customers? business knowledge. Travel percentage expectation is 30% - 50%. This project will continue for 18-24 months.

Job Requirements

Core Responsibilities: ? Coordinate with key business stakeholders to understand all requirements ? Implement project scope, goals deliverables that support business objectives within defined timeline ? Plan, organize, report and follow up the project ? Perform gap stakeholder analysis ? Ensure solution quality in accordance with the project management plan ? Develop and maintain system setup activities in parallel with identified line organization resources ? Lead Supplier compliance project team to: o Ensure supplier compliance on all EDI transactions, labeling, packaging o Conduct root cause analysis in support of non-compliance issues o Provide non-compliance statistics by tracking and reporting errors on a periodic basis o Direct internal actions to appropriate groups when supplier data requirements are not met o Align with global direction to ensure consistent policies and procedures are maintained o Research and investigate non-compliance issues implement solutions to prevent future occurrences o Coordinate with internal groups (Purchasing, Material Control, IT) to ensure all packaging, labeling, EDI, shipping and routing requirements are being met to Volvo standards o Provide training and education to internal groups on compliance general requirements o Adhere to formal process with Purchasing, Material Control, and IT to ensure we document and communicate all requirements for vendors prior to their first shipment ? This position connects many processes (purchasing, goods tracking, MRP, material handling, and warehouse operations) and needs to communicate fact based, educational manner ? This position drives group understanding of processes that are interconnected and therefore, must be an excellent communicator and coach Minimum Education and Experience: ? Bachelor's degree and 3+ years experience in supplier relationship, compliance management, or similar field required ? Experience in supplier EDI and ASN standards and compliance required ? Knowledge of Volvo Group packaging standards and the GTO target map of solutions and processes is preferred
