Temp- to- Perm Senior Corporate Paralegal

A Major, Lindsey & Africa Interim Legal Talent client has an immediate need for a Senior Corporate Paralegal. This is a temporary position, with the potential to convert to permanent employment, in Kennesaw, GA.


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Corporate Governance
  • Drafts, maintains, reviews and files corporate records
  • Creates documents related to new corporate entity formations, dissolutions, and maintenance of existing companies
  • Maintains Law Department records
  • Assists tax and permitting/licensing departments on various matters
  • Under the direction and supervision of legal counsel, reviews, drafts, and maintains various agreements
  • Coordinates, administers and distributes service of process notifications to appropriate parties
  • Performs legal research as requested by legal counsel
  • Assists General Counsel with the preparation of annual Law Department budgets and operating plans
  • Updates the Law, Loss Prevention, Risk Management, Environmental, and Employee Relations Departments organizational charts

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

  • At least 5-7 years of corporate governance and corporate transactional experience gained at a large law firm or in-house law department
  • Ability to interact with people at all levels of the corporate structure, prioritize and handle numerous competing demands in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment
  • Available to work overtime and be on-call as required
  • Anticipate support needs of attorneys across a variety of corporate legal matters
