MarketSource is currently seeking a Manager of Technology
The leader in this role is responsible for all management functions necessary to support program and corporate operations teams with systems including: Salesforce (SFDC), InContact, IBM Kenexa and future systems as developed. Responsibilities include ensuring integration with back office functions such as finance, payroll, human resource systems and other systems. This role is also responsible for delivering innovative technology solutions for a data-driven organization that relies heavily on technology to drive results for its clients. The position will assist in building a Center of Excellence for Technology.
Additional responsibilities include interacting with internal business leaders and other key stakeholders to understand the business objectives and extract key requirements to assist with building and implementing changes to SFDC. Responsible for the leadership of identifying, evaluating, analyzing and recommending changes to systems, including ongoing production maintenance and troubleshooting. S/he supports the management of planning, design, development and configuration of systems. This position should drive identifying, developing and implementing systems process improvements.
Success in this role will require a combination of technology, analytics and operations experience, as well as the ability to manage programs and (a) team(s). S/he will be responsible for the leadership of identifying, evaluating, analyzing and recommending changes to systems, including ongoing production maintenance and troubleshooting. S/he supports the management of planning, design, development and configuration of systems. This position should drive identifying, developing and implementing systems process improvements.
Day-to-day leadership and support of Salesforce Administrators and Corporate Technologists
Partners with all stakeholders on system integrations, projects and incident management; Proactively manage communication and relationships with key stakeholders
Leads configuration, re-configurations, upgrades, enhancements, implementation, maintenance and user acceptance testing activities.
Lead development of process improvement plans for program execution, drive accountability and visibility to results, and maintain accountability for all operational and support KPI's and metrics. Act as SME and a key company oversight support for governance on all company platforms and for new technology requests
Leads production support, coordinate application upgrades, and execute regular audits, to ensure compliance on the use of systems applications.
Leads troubleshooting activities including troubleshoot issues as related to maintenance of systems
Leads root cause analysis and develop resolutions for routine to highly complex technical issues; generate recommendations to avoid and/or minimize production problems and issues.
Assist in the development of a Center of Excellence with cross functional resources, including business units, to drive improvements to business processes and associated technologies ensuring adoption and adherence to guidelines
Ensures efficient and effective transfer of information between systems, finance, human resource and payroll systems on continuing basis with minimal error and in compliance with appropriate regulations.
Ensures detailed functional and technical design documents, test plans and test cases, user training documents and implementation documentation as necessary.
Work cross-functionally to identify and implement a continuous improvement methodology and processes
Continually measure platform performance against expected outcomes and leverage continual improvement to enhance performance ensuring ROI for MarketSource's technology investments.
Ensure technology configurations and data collection support the business's reporting and analytics
SME for and oversight of administration of work force management, route optimization, field survey, call center administration and other operations and support business systems and infrastructure for programs
Leverage reporting and analytics disciplines to support the business in demonstrating client impact (ROI) including key operational metrics, SLA's and KPI's
Identify patterns based on aggregate data to find risks or opportunities, and proactively make change recommendations that lead to optimized performance
Create (and/or interpret for action) forecasts based on complex data, analytical information and results that optimize resource allocation and support incremental business development
Analyze and validate findings while creating dashboards, reports, presentations, and interesting and engaging visualizations
Supervisory or Management Responsibility/Decision Making Level:
This leadership position will serve as both a functional SME and manager of a team playing a business-critical role at MarketSource with key decision-making responsibility and critical delivery timelines. This person will need to lead his/her team(s) effectively, prioritize consistently, remain flexible and leverage strong relationships across all business functions to meet the needs of the business and its clients.
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business Administration or related field preferred (or industry experience equivalent)
5+ years of systems administration experience and related job experience improving operational effectiveness through a combination of training, technology, and project management
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience managing teams and programs
Hands on experience with Salesforce.com, including business relevant end user and enterprise design experience
Experience on Commercial programs preferred
Requisite Abilities and/or Skills:
Ability to direct multiple projects simultaneously
