Compensation: $90,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
Berks County employer is seeking a Systems Product Manager to join their team. The Systems Product Manager will focus his/her efforts on developing, implementing and executing strategic product and marketing plans utilizing existing and new transportation and specialty products for the America?s region. This individual will be the subject matter and technical expert for Transportation electrical systems, electronics and accessory products. He/She will work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing on product and solutions development, as well as Marketing on strategy, analytics and research. On occasion, the incumbent will be required to make presentations to various internal or external audiences including Sales, Service, Customer Service and Customers as well as assist Sales and Marketing personnel with customer presentations. Primary duties include: 1. Be the subject matter expert on Transportation electrical systems with a strong understanding form a complete systems approach: power source, electrical loads, electronics, alternators and charging. 2. Play a lead role in researching, analyzing and recommending new product development through our existing product portfolio as well as new and emerging technologies. This specifically includes the emerging 48V platforms and alternative chemistries within the Transportation markets. 3. Manage the product life cycle of the existing Transportation product portfolios. 4. Work with Engineering to facilitate custom design process, maintain an accurate database of currently available products and accessories, and act as a liaison with Engineering for the sales organization regarding technical and application issues. 5. Assist in the development of key strategic and tactical plans to increase sales, market share, and profits in the Transportation market. 6. Assist in developing sales and marketing tools to support our goals and objectives through presentations, white papers, feature articles, product application topics and training. 7. Maintain product line data for Transportation products for use in presentations, literature, brochures and digitally. 8. Participate in industry trade shows, seminars, meetings and occasional sales calls to stay abreast of current and emerging customer and market trends. Inclusive of attending and representing company at trade associations and technical conferences. 9. Other duties may be assigned.
