Supervisor Vacant Property Registration

Job Description

Position Summary


The Vacant Property Registration Supervisor oversees the day-to-day functions of the Vacant Property Registration department.  This individual will be responsible for handling escalated VPR issues, and for monitoring the follow-up on all municipality/city ordinances and high risk issues. Additionally this person will play a significant role in identifying and implementing internal process improvements.

Responsibilities and Expectations


  • Reviews and resolves escalated issues in timely manner.

  • Acts as point of contact for new city compliance issues. Ensures all new requirements are tracked and posted to spreadsheet/matrix. Ensures integrity of data on tracking spreadsheet.

  • Continue in the “marketing” aspects of the Department (ex. Introducing Safeguard to Cities not familiar with the company).

  • Generates reporting necessary for report reconciliation and contract compliance


by aggregating data from multiple sources


  • Provides forward-thinking approach to avoiding issues or resolving existing issues in a timely manner

  • Analyzes various reports to identify areas of opportunity in process and staffing; Proposes solutions to yield improvement in service levels

  • Assesses client, company and departmental changes for impact on existing process and recommends/implements changes to remain compliant

  • Creates and maintains documentation outlining how tasks are performed

  • All other duties as assigned

  • Respond to all business communications within 24 hours

  • All other duties as assigned
