The Senior Network Administrator will support the global network and server infrastructure for offices, data centers, distribution/packing facilities and cloud environments. Perform routine administrative tasks such as patching and hardware upgrades/replacements, monitoring network services, responding to break/fix and support requests.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
' Manage all network devices in Company's global enterprise including performing device upgrades/patches as needed for security and support.
' Administrates all aspects of various servers: Including Domain Controllers, Exchange, Terminal Server, Storage Server, Antivirus Server, Web Monitoring and Cloud services.
' Manage and maintain quality of service for VoIP, Video and Data on LAN/WAN.
' Plan, integrate and implement information systems infrastructure projects, including networks and software applications to support the association's strategic objectives.
' Maintain data files and monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity.
' Strive for 100% availability of all primary network connectivity and maintain alternative backup connections
' Establish a baseline of network performance and develops and implements procedures to ensure satisfactory performance and quality service to users. Be proactive and take action to enhance connectivity by redesigning or ordering new connections or hardware before a notification of a problem
' Work as a member of a team and use established standard operating procedures in the conduct of daily duties.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
' Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of work experience, education and training
' 5+ years of experience in Network Administration
' Hands on experience with installing, upgrading and troubleshooting Cisco data network and wireless networks.
' Excellent communication, time management and problem-solving skills
' Active Directory, windows domain roles and features administration
' VMWare, iSCSI SAN and MPLS experience
' On-call and ability to work hours outside normal business according to business needs.
' Ability to travel if needed to other remote sites.
' Certification in Cisco CCNP and Microsoft MCSE certification highly desired
' Hands on experience with configuring and troubleshooting routing protocols including EIGRP, BGP, and OSPF
' Hands on experience with Cisco IOS, NX-OS and Cisco hardware including routers, switches, wireless LAN controllers, and firewalls. Expert with operation and configuration using the CLI
' Hands on experience with IP networking design and operation including subnetting, tunneling, QoS, and LAN and WAN connectivity media
' Bilingual in Spanish a plus
