They work closely with & support senior team members to analyze and scope information needs, data relationships & attributes, workflow, reporting, and process/technical documentation. Sr. Information Analysts are strong communicators, proactive & work well within a fast-paced, deadline driven, team environment; these individuals maintain grace under pressure & conduct themselves w/professionalism, positivity & respect at all times. This individual’s work will have a high level of exposure across departments & contribute to client facing deliverables. They are committed to continual learning within their craft; including the development & improvement of processes that ensure the ongoing accuracy & efficiency of their work. They are able to organize & manage multiple priorities & projects coupled w/the flexibility to adapt to evolving client needs. OVERARCHING JOB FUNCTIONS Data Model QA and Maintenance 30% Develop and Update Reporting 30% Technical and Process Authoring 10-20% Research and Analysis 10-20%SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Identify, collect, prepare, transform, validate and visualize data
  • Update and maintain reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Design and maintain data models / databases
  • Act as a subject matter expert with respect to all aspects of data and its use in measuring and improving marketing campaigns
  • Perform data quality audits
  • Develop formal processes; periodically audit with respect to efficiency and accuracy; develop process improvements
  • Proactively support and participate in agency improvement/innovation initiatives
  • May be required to travel
  • Job Requirements

    .EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
    Requires a BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Mathematics w/a min of 4 yrs of experience developing, implementing & managing databases & performing analysis. A combination of education and experience will be considered. Knowledge and SkillsRequired:
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Experience with Big Data
  • Extensive use of Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, power pivots
  • Extensive use of BI tools (i.e.: Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc).
  • Experience in data transformations and building datamarts
  • Experience identifying inefficient processes, then implementing & quantifying process improvements
  • Provide mentoring and technical oversite for Associate Information Analysts
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills; outgoing & comfortable relating to people.
  • Proven ability to simply present complex information
  • Strong Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to define problems, collect and review data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Work with & advise stakeholder groups to define reporting metrics, identify data sources & develop best solutions, recommendations.
  • Independent and self-directed yet also team-oriented
  • Must be well-organized & able to multi-task. Excellent at setting & meeting deadlines w/the ability to work well under tight time constraints. Strong ability to prioritize workload & manage multiple large projects simultaneously within deadlines.
  • Must be detail oriented & have the willingness to learn & the initiative to continually develop skill sets.
  • Understand & anticipate risks/dependencies across various deliverables
  • Perform quality audits, develop formal processes/documentation & champion continuous improvement efforts
  • Preferred:
  • Experience with marketing, customer data and unstructured data is a plus
  • Microsoft Certification (MOS, MOS Expert, MOS Master)
  • Experience with Agency platforms: i.e. Strata, Core, Advantage
  • Experience using Project Management software
