Hilton San Francisco Union Square is seeking a Manager to oversee the Shipping/Receiving Dock Operations!
As one of the tallest buildings in the city, this historic 3-tower hotel has over 1900 rooms, 160,000 square feet of banquet space, and 6 food and beverage outlets. This includes a restaurant, 2 bars, a marketplace, and In-Room Dining.
In this role you will spend your time coordinating the schedule of the loading dock and working closely with the events team and meeting planners from individual groups.
The ideal candidate will be an exceptional leader who exudes professionalism with a passion for building relationships with guests and team members. A minimum of 3 years experience overseeing a large loading dock operation is required, hotel and union experience is a plus!

What will I be doing?
As a Convention Dock Operations Manager, you would be responsible for executing all aspects of the convention resume and corresponding arrangements between the hotel and customer during the meeting or event. This includes but is not limited to:
Serve on site group and catering customers in a proactive manner relative to logistics of group room block, food and beverage, public meeting space/exhibit hall, ancillary and vendor services, affiliates/exhibitors and related billing processes.
Interview, train, supervise, schedule and evaluate staff.
