Senior UX Designer

You might be right for this job with one of The Creative Group's clients, if you are a User Experience (UX) Designer. User Experience (UX) Designer candidates who can conceive and conduct user research, interviews and surveys, and translate them into sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes, are ideal for this position. Additionally, you will design the overall functionality of the product and iterate upon it to ensure a great user experience. This job is looking for a person who can prove they are a creative thinker who enjoys working independently as well as collaborating with colleagues. This full-time employment opportunity is based in the Bellevue, Washington area.

What you get to do every single day

- Joining forces with business users and application developers to translate requirements into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes

- Draw on results from user research and workflow analysis to develop captivating experiences for users of a product

- Focus areas may be content, controls, visual design, packaging, customer/technical support, branding, and other aspects of user experience

- Creating tools such as personas, usage scenarios, site maps, taxonomies, and wireframes

- Teaming with other members of the digital marketing team on the creation of new initiatives

- Assisting other team members as needed (QA, data entry, production updates, resizing of graphics, etc.)

- Managing usability testing on prototypes or finished products to assess the quality of a user experience

Job Requirements

- Experience using Web Accessibility and testing tools (e.g. Lighthouse, Google Accessibility Developer Tools)

- Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

- Bachelor's degree

- A portfolio demonstrating UX (wireframes/prototypes/other UX artifacts) and visual design work

- Knowledge of prototype/mockup software (e.g. Sketch, Balsamiq, Zeplin)

- This position is best suited for candidates with strong interpersonal skills

- Comprehensive knowledge of Android iOS

- Experience with graphic design

- Deep understanding of API's

- Company Websites experience required

- Visual Design experience

- Able to use graphic design, video editing, web development, and photography applications such as Adobe Creative Suite

- 5+ years of experience within the digital design/UX industry

- Excellent verbal, written, and social skills

- Strong skills using design software applications and tools
