Senior Litigation Paralegal

Major, Lindsey & Africa is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal for a boutique firm based in Washington, DC.


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Manage litigation case files and documents
  • Oversee filings to respective courts that are compliant with local rules
  • Assist attorneys by preparing legal documents including pleadings, subpoenas, motions and briefs
  • Assist attorneys with discovery-related duties, including document review and analysis
  • Draft, proofread and update internal firm materials such as presentations, reports and templates

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

  • 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Demonstrated understanding of the litigation lifecycle and legal hold process
  • Experience with CM/ECF system with Federal Courts
  • Strong MS Office Suite skills (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills particularly with case files/document management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong work ethic with willingness to work overtime as needed
