Aerotek is currently hiring a Senior HR Generalist for our client in their Virginia Beach headquarters. This position is due to growth in the company and as a result their HR need is much more substantial.
We are looking for someone not afraid to get in on the ground floor and build out the HR Department. This individual will have some autonomy in their role to grow the HR processes and team. There is continued upward mobility with the company as it continues to grow.
This person will be hired to refine, manage, and conduct the following tasks:
-Recruitment of new talent
-Onboarding of new employees / offboarding of previous employees
-Administering benefits/new employee packets
-Acting as the front line of payroll, taking questions, inputting information, and reporting that to the Payroll team
-Developing training and onboarding programs for new employees
-Working on people management programs
-Researching new information and keeping the company's risk from an HR standpoint minimal
-Tracking and keeping employee records accurate.
-Working with senior leadership on developing new programs and initiatives.
- 5+ years in an HR Generalist role
- Bachelors Degree
- Comfortable building and developing processes
- Experience in all areas of Human Resources to include Talent Acquisition
