Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description

We are an industry leader with an immediate need for a Senior Financial Analyst to support current and new projects. This is a direct hire, permanent job located in Kent, WA. Relocation assistance IS available to candidates not local to the area. Due to the nature of our work, all candidates MUST be US Citizens.

In this role, you will support financial controls for a portfolio of projects in a particular program area, using earned value management. This role calls for senior level experience with earned value management and with estimate at complete.

Responsibilities:


  • Work with both finance and program teams to guide program reporting for designated programs.

  • Lead business case analysis, earned value management (EVM) and cost charging issues.

  • Work with engineers and technical teams as well as with executive leadership to provide financial information that will help drive business performance.

  • Manage revenue forecasts, capital assets, budget & cost pools, resource (labor, material, other costs) plans as well as proposals, contracts acquisition and compliance.



Job Requirements

Requirements:


  • Bachelors degree and at least 5 years experience in a finance-related role such as Financial Operations, Cost Estimation, Accounting, Financial Planning, Contracts.

  • At least 3 years experience working with management-level leaders, including making presentations to leadership.

  • Experience in forecasting, developing long-range business plans, working with overhead management, rate management and capital process.

  • Training or experience in FAR/DFARS compliance.

  • Experience with multiple types of government contracts such as: fixed price, cost plus, time and materials.

  • At least 3 years experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).

  • Experience with with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and/or Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) is a PLUS.

  • US Citizenship is REQUIRED.

  • A current, active SECRET level security clearance is required.
