This resource with be helping to create solutions to migrate data out of the datacenter and into the cloud. Throughout 2020, we will be shutting down the Ashburn datacenter and moving this data to the cloud. You will be an integral piece into helping esablish the solution and finalize the shutdown into the cloud.
We are looking for someone excited to be client-facing! You will have the opportunity to not only create your solution, but then present it to the client!
**W2 - Ability to obtain a security clearance - 80% remote**
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. 40%: Design and implement AWS cloud solutions with emphasis on adapting AWS services to our customers' needs.
2. 40%: Troubleshoot and resolve issues with AWS Cloud and related trouble tickets.
3. 10%: Gather technical requirements, assess client capabilities and analyze findings to provide appropriate Cloud solution recommendations and adoption strategy.
4. 10%: Provides mentoring to aide in the development and growth of fellow team members.
Experience working as part of an Agile/Kanban Team
Ability to self-start and successfully contribute in an environment while working seamlessly in a distributed team via collaboration tools

Experience with DevOps concepts, methodologies, and tools.
Experience with Git is a must.
Experience with Jenkins and Ansible highly preferred.
Experience with ServiceNow (or similar ITSM tool) to self-select AWS and related trouble tickets from a queue and successfully resolve them to meet or exceed documented SLAs
Thorough understanding of AWS infrastructure and services including but not limited to EC2, EBS, S3, CloudWatch, Cloud Trail, IAM, AWS Config, etc.
Automation experience with Ansible and AWS automation services
Experienced in authoring and updating Python scripts
Strong automation experience with Python ideally or other solid scripting language
Strong abilities with designing and implementing IAM policies
Strong understanding of Linux/Windows administration and network administration concepts
Experience with Active Directory, Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), SAML, web Single Sign-on (SSO), OAuth and related authentication technologies
High availability and Disaster Recovery principles, patterns and usage
Experience with networking principles and technologies (DNS, Load Balancers, Reverse Proxies)
Practical experience sizing hardware and storage needs
