Robert Half Finance Accounting has partnered with a global manufacturing organization headquartered in St. Louis seeking a full-time Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing SEC reporting (Form 8-K, 10-K, 10-Q), along with assisting on financial reporting, analysis and XBRL tagging. The Senior Accountant will work across the organization to fulfill reporting requirements and partner with external auditors. Minimum qualifications for Senior Accountant: Bachelor degree in Accounting required, CPA strongly preferred with 2+ years of SEC reporting experience in public accounting. Intermediate Excel required, Hyperion and WDesk highly preferred. Competitive salary with comprehensive benefits plan. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening) - 1+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience - Great attention to detail - Able to manage time well - Financial analysis experience required - Hyperion Financial Reporting experience - General familiarity with XBRL Tagging - Wide ranging experience with external auditing - Experience with Form 10-K - Well-founded grasp of Form 8-K - Expertise in Microsoft Excel - SEC Reporting experience - Proven knowledge of Form 10-Q - Earlier work involving equity accounting - Practical knowledge of financial statement preparation - Quality experience with Earnings Release - Prior experience in a public accounting environment required - Extraordinary analytical, quantitative and social skills - Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges - Vow to meet business deadlines - Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity - BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
