Compensation: $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year

In the Senior Accountant role, you will support the company's goals by preparing and consolidating financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, analyzing cash flow, establishing budgets and forecasting, preparing audits, and handling internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Candidates should excel at all levels of analysis. In addition to the solid compensation and benefits, this full-time position offers the possibility of growth.

Your responsibilities in this Senior Accountant role:
  • Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables that includes journal entries, reconciliations, and reports in the compensation area in compliance with GAAP
  • Uphold company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls; while also providing support on special requests when required
  • Adherence to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
  • Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives
  • Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations
  • Produce monthly consolidated P L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes
  • Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner
  • Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external
  • Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary

  • Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative and social skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
  • SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience
  • 2+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
  • Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity
  • Month end closings experience
  • BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
  • Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
  • Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
  • Efficient in ERP systems
  • Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
  • Able to manage time well
