Program Manager of Lab Services

Job Description

EASi is hiring a Program Manager with a clinical and/or laboratory background to provide oversight for EASi's project teams associated and supporting all business within our Lab Services portfolio.


The Program Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of project teams for external clients, ensuring that all projects meet their cost, quality and compliance requirements. Success in this role requires expertise in delivering technology and business solutions and involves customer interaction and requires strong technical, organizational, communication, leadership, and client relationship skills.

Essential Functions:

Responsible for project management of assigned Lab Services projects, including, but not limited to:

PROGRAM EXECUTION

  • Oversight and responsibility for project performance and profitability, resource allocation, scheduling, customer issue resolution and overall client satisfaction.
  • Service reporting, including deliverables
  • Project oversight, budgeting, invoice management
  • Analyze project risk assessments, mitigation plan and implement opportunities

PEOPLE EXECUTION

  • Responsible for oversight of people working on projects
  • Proactively identify and resolve performance issues, performance feedback, review of metrics
  • Focus on maintaining/improving retention through career development and mentoring

CUSTOMER EXECUTION

  • Lead strategic business discussions evaluating customer needs, challenges, capabilities
  • Maintain active communication with clients and internal stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction
  • Ensure deadlines are met and lead change efforts effectively.

INTERNAL PARTNERSHIPS

  • Work with Business Development team and Talent Acquisition with business and people planning and assist in the Business Acquisition Process (BAP) and execution.
  • Member of the CSMT and can attend gate review meetings on new projects (as needed)
  • Partner with the internal team on strategy development of accounts.
  • Partner with internal team on creating any new business or program expansion SOW, RACI, and review process
    o Support the development of proposals, presentations and provide technical input

ADDITIONAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY

  • Manage fulltime employees and consultants.
  • Travel 25-50% to meet and build relationships with customers, attend monthly meetings, participate in quarterly reviews, and meet with business development partners.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's of Science degree
  • Minimum 2 years of project management experience
  • Experience in laboratory work environment
  • Familiarity in applicable regulatory requirements as dependent upon clients' standards and environment
  • Experience directly managing employees
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
  • Team-building experience and understanding
