Production Branch Operations Assistant

Job Description



The Production Branch Operations Assistant is responsible for answering all incoming phone and email requests for support on Empower and other Productions systems. This includes; support of AUS systems, origination, and processing workflows.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Responsible for new user setups, DU and LP maintenance, and FHA/VA access maintenance
  • Provide phone assistance for Empower users
  • Answer emails sent to Empower Support
  • Track all support calls/emails electronically for reporting purposes
  • Prepare electronic tickets on new Empower users for all channels of business and send to IT department
  • Train new users and onsite branch training, as needed
  • Prepare written guidance on system changes to mortgage staff
  • Test projects as they become available
  • Assist with month end reporting, invoice reconciliation, proof-reading memos and writing test programs
  • Cross train on the Empower and ELC Centralized Disclosure Desk for all loans including single close construction - as needed assist in the completion of reviews and document fulfillment
  • Various duties as assigned



Requirements:
  • Ability to work from home or a Branch location
  • 5+ years LOS experience, Empower
  • 7+ years of recent comprehensive mortgage processing/origination experience
  • Ability to work at a high volume call desk with frequent distractions
  • Working knowledge of TRID, Dodd-Frank, QM Points Fees Testing, Reg B
  • Ability to explain Loan Estimates to applicants
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of basic office procedures
  • Advanced organizational skills, including the ability to plan work activities and stay on schedule
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Computer proficiency, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a dynamic, fast paced working environment
  • Communication in English to locate, read, and report information
  • Concentrating/Thinking
  • Meeting deadlines /Working under stress
  • Ability to work during regular business hours, as designated by management
  • Must be able to work additional hours when needed - including weekends
  • Travel to branch offices and corporate office, as needed
