Assists in analyzing an American Machine Tool Market/Product Trend to develop effective new product strategy. In order to align with companies annual and long term strategic direction, she/he contacts DMT in providing necessary information to generate strategies (AOP, LRP, MBO, and KPI). She/he will need to have extensive understanding of machine tools. Key is making recommendations by identifying critical risk and benefits of each product strategy.
•Assist strategy and planning team leader and product planning manager in analyzing machine tool market (product, industry, competition) by monitoring data on internet, interviewing sales, distributors, customer and vendors or by analyzing market data tools such as USMTO, EDA or Penta.
•Updating monthly product development and launch status
•Generating sales material for new products
•Setup strategic meetings
•Prepare data for meetings
•Assist in generating reports
•Manage strategies to achieve annual goals
•Responsible for coordination of legal matters
•Manage legal and insurance budgets
•Review and submit invoices
•Bachelor's Degree ? Mechanical Engineering
•Management and leadership skills
•Knowledge of current machine tool industry
