Job Summary: If you?ve worked in the court system and have experience implementing software systems, we want you! We are equivant, a software provider for the justice community, and we?re seeking a Product Manager for our team. Our next Product Manager needs to be obsessed with designing and optimizing our software solutions to achieve business goals. Above all else, they must understand the business needs of the courts and translate them into actionable product specifications for our development team. Our next Product Manager must have experience working in the judicial system (if you?ve ever helped implement our software, please click ?apply? IMMEDIATELY!). The Product Manager is expected to have around 25% travel as well. So what?s in it for you? For one, this is a remote position! Our next Product Manager can set their own schedule, and they?ll have the opportunity to create new products. This role presents a very unique avenue for broadening your court and government experience as well as evolving your R D experience in software development. Job Description: Our Product Manager will need to understand the technology stack and understand the level of effort involved in developing new products and features. This is even more important in a fast-paced development process where Product Managers spend more time day-to-day with the development team than with anyone else inside the business. Having the ability to talk to our customers and translating their feedback into ?Dev speak? is a valuable skill. Although the successful Product Manager can interact technically with the development team, the Product Manager can also speak confidently to non-technical stakeholders in detail oriented services, marketing, business development or executive management. Our responsibilities include: RESPONSIBILITIES ? Planning and leading requirements analysis and design through meetings with customers and other internal and external stakeholders ? Performs functional analysis and design ? Writes clear and concise product specificationsfor use in the software development cycle ? Conducts product reviews focused on vetting new ideas and disruptive innovation opportunities ? Builds criteria for product development acceptance ? Performs data and/or database research ? Perform and/or assist in complex bug verification and customer specific software support as needed ? Assist in authoring product documentation, internal knowledge sharing documents, and training materials ? Works with Product Management Team to outline and document development effort estimates ? Works with Development Team members to ensure product specifications are correctly implemented ? Works with Quality Assurance Team to ensure developed function meet specifications ? Perform other duties as may be assigned by management REQUIREMENTS ? Bachelor's degree or certificate from a technical training institute ? Experienceimplementing, developing, or using enterprise management systems ? Any relative software development experience ? Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio ? Working knowledge of Aha, JIRA or other product development tool ? Experience working in theCourt, or working withCourt Case Management Systemsis preferred ? Functional Analysis or systems analysis experience is preferred ? Experience creating product documentation is preferred ? Experience developing end-user specifications or new product features for implementation is preferred ? Ability to travel, 25%
