The Performing Loans Manager will be responsible for the strategy and day to day management of the company’s performing loans. They will create strategic and tactical plans to implement sound management controls over all accounting and business related risk factors related to servicing. Work with the head of default to ensure that all expenses, advances and income items are booked to the appropriate GL lines. Responsible to ensure that the operation remains compliant with all applicable Federal and State laws and appropriate risk measures taken. They will provide analytical support to all servicing units and executive leadership as well as manage the functions of: Escrow Services, Investor reporting / reconciliations, cash operations, compliance and analytics and business reporting.

Responsibilities Include:

* Implement strategies, policies, and plans for Escrow Services and Investor Services
* Develop, implement and execute all policies and procedures
* Ensure compliance with all Federal and State regulatory authorities and investor guidelines and requirements
* Oversee and direct third party vendors
* Make recommendations for new hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, performance evaluations, training and development, and interpretation of rules and policies for department personnel
* Review existing workflow to reduce duplication of effort and inefficiencies
* Develop departmental budget consistent with the strategic plan and overall budget
* Accountable for responding to and resolving audit findings according to established procedures
* Oversee personnel activities including hiring, training, and evaluating employees Responsible for directing the performance of Loan Administration Seller Relations Representative staff
* Ensure necessary reports are prepared for Executive Management
* Responsible for insuring adherence to all policies, guidelines, regulatory compliance, and investor compliance
* Act as an internal and external liaison between the appropriate departments/functions and investors to resolve issues
* Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and usefulness of financial and management reporting
* Communicate effectively with other business units on deficiencies, trends and /or process gaps and recommend corrective action
* Create and measure key company and departmental metrics
* Provide professional and courteous communication with internal and external customers to address and resolve problems, special requests, and or discrepancy situations
* Responsible for training and record keeping for development of staff
* Ability to direct, lead, and motivate others in a team environment Serve as the point of contact within the department for research and escalations
* Analyze large amounts of data and condense into executive level analytics
* Track and analyze business unit trends and make appropriate recommendations to management that will impact overall effectiveness
* Prepare month end reports and deliver to Senior Management
* Ability to develop and maintain effective and positive client relationships
* Develop controllership methodology for all servicing units to ensure loan servicing is practicing sound financial management practices
* Liaison with Corporate accounting to ensure all servicing activities are appropriately match to the corresponding GL. Ensure aged GL are cleared timely and that executive reporting is conducted to create transparency

Requirements:

* 5+ years of Management experience in Loan Servicing
* Knowledge of Regulatory, Investor, and Compliance guidelines
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Detail oriented with intense organizational and follow-through skills
* Strong analytical, decision making, and investigative skills
* Ability to be self-directed and make independent decisions
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster internal and external business relationships
* Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
* Ability to conduct research, organize, and communicate findings
* Ability to trouble shoot issues
* Advanced computer skills
* Analytical skill set with rigorous attention to detail
* Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Advanced Time Management skills* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
* BS/BA, Accounting or Finance or the equivalent
* Detail-minded with intense organizational and follow through skills
* Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical and judgment skills
