Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director

Compensation: $80000.00 to $100000.00 yearly

One of Robert Half's favorite clients is looking for an energetic Payroll Manager who will be primarily responsible for processing the company’s payroll. This individual will be a team of one managing the payroll and will eventually full-time a team under them. This individual will be responsible for managing the completion of day-to-day payroll transactions against deadlines, ensuring tax filings are being performed, completing payroll, and preparation of reports to Management. This individual will collaborate with other internal groups as needed. This position will also assist with other projects undertaken by the Finance and People and Culture Groups, as necessary.

Responsibilities
•Performs global payroll process using ADP and ensures that payroll is performed accurately and timely.
•Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating and entering data for new hires, terminations, other employee changes and voluntary deductions in the payroll system.
•Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing data.
•Reconcile payroll accounts to the general ledger and prepares management reporting by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, disability and nontaxable wages and other schedules on an ad-hoc basis.
•Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures.
•Coding and recording of accounts payable invoices for general ledger.
•Preparation and filing of W-9 forms.
•Printing, mailing and filing of checks.
•Provide external auditor assistance.
•Assist with other projects undertaken by the finance team including helping to define best in class operating procedures.

Requirements
•BS degree in Accounting or finance or other relevant degree
•Three to five years experience with payroll and international payroll experience
•Demonstrated successful use of technology to improve process efficiency
•Proficiency in ADP, Excel, Word, and accounting systems
•Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
•Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment with individuals across various organizational levels and in various departments
•Dependable and team player with a commitment to highest standards of quality and integrity
•High degree of confidentiality due to the highly sensitive nature of data
•Exude a high degree of professionalism and treats others with respect
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on tasks with a high degree of difficulty
•Must be a must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Preferred
•Experience with ADP and international experience
•Human resources experience a plus
