A local organization in Beaverton, OR is looking for an Open Enrollment Benefits Consultant for a 6 month project. This position has a possibility of becoming a temporary-to-hire role if the candidate is interested in a long-term position, however this is not a requirement of being considered for this role. This company is looking for a candidate that is a strong individual contributor who knows benefits inside and out. Responsibilities: ? Responsible for overseeing Open Enrollment for the organization. ? Review existing policies and programs and make recommendations for new plans or changes in existing plans, based on program metrics, company objectives, legislative changes and market trends. ? Evaluate costs and potential savings associated with benefit plans ? Resolve discrepancies with carriers ? Prepare benefit related communications and presentations. ? Prepare all benefits-related reporting ? Prepare and facilitate required benefit audits ? Document and update benefit related policies, summary plan descriptions, and HR procedures. ? Answer questions related to all benefit programs. Act as a liaison with broker or carriers for escalated issues.
