ABOUT THIS POSITION
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Serves as the primary application fulfillment and retention resource for Infinity Agency across various carriers.
*1. Reviews all new business applications for completeness and prepares them to be sent to customers as needed.
*2. Requests additional information from customers when necessary.
*3. Assists customers with electronic signature process when applicable to drive application fulfillment.
*4. Schedules and places call-backs to ensure customer signature has been obtained.
*5. Assists with tracking, collecting, and documenting receipt of all required information and documents from new business customers.
6. Forwards documents as needed to appropriate personnel.
7. Completes Form letters and memos, templates, and envelopes as necessary.
8. Documents various internal records and reports as needed.
9. Advises supervisors of questionable risks.
10. Performs general clerical duties as assigned.
11. Perform all other duties as assigned.
*12. Must have regular and predictable attendance.
INTERNAL: Interacts with Direct Sales and I-CARE staff as well as supervisory personnel.
EXTERNAL: Interacts daily with policy holders.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: None
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND/OR SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Six (6) months previous customer service experience required. Call Center experience preferred. Good verbal and written communication skills required to represent the agency in a professional manner. Pleasant telephone demeanor, and multitasking skills required. Must be able to speak, read and write both English and Spanish proficiently. Must be well organized with ability to prioritize work and perform job duties in an accurate, timely manner. PC experience required with typing speed of 35 wpm and less than 5% error ratio. Proficiency with 10-key adding machine preferred. Knowledge of insurance laws and coverage is preferred. Above average initiative and independent thinking skills preferred.
