This is a long-term contract role for a large client in San Francisco -- the manager is interviewing now; please send resumes to [Click Here to Email Your Resumé] MARKETING OPERATIONS / PRODUCT MANAGER The Marketing Operations team is the bridge that provides the critical technical expertise and execution skills to facilitate email and mobile marketing campaigns. POSITION SUMMARY As a Manager for Marketing Operations, you will be responsible for leading the Retention Operations team, supporting and executing the extensive, dynamic and high-performing promotional marketing email and mobile messaging campaigns. You will lead the team of 3+ operational specialists, coordinating their work as well as communicating and organizing work processes with other teams. In this role, you will help develop best-in-class processes in order to support the flawless execution of marketing campaigns. You will be the main contact point for all our 3rd party vendors and will be working on improving current technology, building new assets and functionality, coordinating day-to-day work and solving any issues that may arise. As well as building good relationships across different vendors and cross-channel partners. YOU'RE EXCITED ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE YOU WILL...: ? Manage and support the execution of email and mobile messaging campaigns and initiatives. ? Lead a team of 3+ specialists, coordinating and overseeing their work on a daily basis ? Provide channel expertise to develop highly dynamic, personalized campaigns utilizing 3rd party vendor?s functionality. ? Continuously improve marketing operations processes and tools ? Manage QA campaigns process to ensure accurate and error-free execution of link strategy, content and targeting rules. ? Partner with Delivery Asset Management team to ensure accurate delivery of email and mobile messaging assets. ? Work with 3rd party vendors on improving existing functionality and building new technology. ? Build relationships, partner and cooperate with Delivery Asset Management team, Site, Marketing, Merchandising teams, Web Development, and 3rd party vendors ? Support Retention Marketing with special projects and initiatives.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: o 2+ years minimum of production e-commerce experience with a focus on email and mobile digital marketing o BA with a degree in Marketing or related field o Experience leading and managing a team o Familiarity with email or mobile messaging deployment platforms (such as Epsilon, Exact Target, Strongview, Acxiom Digital, Braze, Salesforce, MailChimp or others) o Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills o Strong ability to collaborate across all teams o Data-driven mindset with a focus on quality and optimization o Hands-on experience working with different CMS and building campaigns. o Strong understanding of tools and data o Experience building, optimizing and scaling digital marketing campaigns o Ability to think strategically while being hands-on, organized and detail-oriented. o Natural team player with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders in a matrixed environment o Familiarity with Audience creation, Email, Mobile messaging campaigns creation and execution o Past analytical or technical experience, ability to read HTML is a plus
