Marketing Manager

Job Description

SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED
-- Craft & develop compelling customer success stories, messages and content including case studies, presentations, whitepapers, infographics, and webinars
-- Work with sales and BD teams to identify key customer references and distill outcomes and benefits into product marketing messages
-- Manage agencies to interview customers, and draft customer success stories
-- Report on the effectiveness of customer advocacy activities

Typical task breakdown and rhythm:
* The individual will cover EC2 Customer Advocacy and Compute Blog responsibilities.
* Craft & develop compelling customer success stories, messages and content including case studies, presentations, whitepapers, infographics, and webinars
* Work with sales and BD teams to identify key customer references and distill outcomes and benefits into product marketing messages
* Manage agencies to interview customers, and draft customer success stories
* Report on the effectiveness of customer advocacy activities
* Customer advocacy

Years of Experience Required
* 3+ years of relevant work experience in fields such as product marketing, consulting, technical marketing, training, or product management
* 3+ years demonstrated track record in crafting, positioning, and marketing content
* Must be very organized and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Familiar in cloud services and how B2B technologies work
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* The demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously
* A bias for action for developing marketing assets
* Ability to easily transition from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution
* Experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership to drive consensus and articulate program recommendations and trade-offs

Degrees or certifications required
* A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, technology, or relevant field of study such as computer science OR 7+ years relevant industry experience in marketing of technical products

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience in enterprise technology, particularly cloud services

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• The demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously

• A bias for action for developing marketing assets

• Ability to easily transition from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution

• Experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership to drive consensus and articulate program recommendations and trade-offs
