Manager of Tech Support

Compensation: $85000.00 to $100000.00 yearly

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversees Field Service Technicians on-site maintenance, repairs of IT equipment including technical diagnostics, break/fix, installation, removal and warranty return.
• Provide technician support for IT infrastructure and equipment such as laptops, printers, fax machines, IT services, telephones, routers, Wi-Fi access points, etc.
• Work closely with IT support to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and develop a proactive maintenance schedule.
• Demonstrates measurable progress in technical abilities, troubleshooting techniques and productivity.
• Responsible for maintaining and managing tool kit, supplies and accurate inventory
• Provides accurate and timely updates, status and completion reporting to manager, problem request tracking system, and/or users

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science or related field of study
• Previous supervisory experience in a Field Service role or similar
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to work independently at our locations
• Excel at problem solving and troubleshooting
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Previous hands on experience repairing/performing maintenance with computer equipment, iPad/printer/faxes/scanners and third party equipment
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry our instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
