Reporting to the Senior Director of IT, the Senior Manager of Network and Infrastructure will be responsible for all aspects of supporting the IT infrastructure and Network. Key areas of responsibility include enterprise infrastructure network technology roadmap, solution architecture, operational support and governance across all of the company. This position will oversee the Network Infrastructure team responsible for infrastructure architecture, Network, remote access, security, as well as compute and storage infrastructure including desktop, server hardware/software, virtualization, Voice Data Communications, Office 365 and support of our data center services. Working closely with the Information Technology management team and stakeholders will be key, this role will be responsible for optimizing the structure of the team to support the needs of the business. ? Refine/build and lead a respected IT Network/Infrastructure team that is customer oriented and delivers business value. Mentor team personnel in a growth plan that benefits an individual?s own career development plan as well as the organization. ? Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the Network/Infrastructure team. ? Develop plan to consolidate to refine/define a strategy for the network infrastructure environment. ? Manage the administration of the Office 365 environment ensuring structured processes and procedures are in place. ? Develop and implement effective processes to identify, escalate, troubleshoot, triage, report and track production issues across the enterprise. ? Conduct research and development in IT Network Infrastructure and related technologies. Recommend strategies for improving IT infrastructure. Establish IT Network Infrastructure Architecture plan that is aligned with the business? strategic plans and organizational goals. ? Ensure infrastructure initiatives have sufficient Project Management oversight, utilizing the IT PMO governance processes, overseeing technical projects to ensure delivery in line with management expectations. ? Develop an IT vendor management policy ? Work closely with the Director of Information Security to ensure that technologies are optimally configured and maintained to provide maximum uptime and protection to the organizations? information systems ? Work closely with the Service Desk manager to ensure continuity in support processes. ? Coordinate acquisition of and contracting for hardware, software, and information technology services (including maintenance) according to IT vendor management policy. ? Manage contractors and ongoing contractual arrangements with staffing vendors to ensure staffing needs can be met to quickly ramp up and ramp down projects. ? Ensure the configuration and tuning of enterprise monitoring and instrumentation system(s) to efficiently detect existing issues and predict future issues based on trends. ? In conjunction with members of the IT management team, look to improve the performance, capacity planning, security, redundancy and availability of systems. ? Support all internal/external audits and ensure timely and effective response for all requests for information on a priority basis.
