Inventory Finance Manager

Compensation: $110,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year

A Global publicly traded consumer products company, has an opening for an Inventory Finance Manager in Somerset, NJ. The Inventory Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the monthly close, budgets, estimates, and analysis of inventory and related variances, reserves, and accruals for assigned divisions in the wholesale sportswear group. Responsibility to manage and direct team to accurately close the month, and prepare all month end estimates, preliminary budgets, final budgets, for inventory, inventory reserves and related variances and other cost of sales for assigned businesses. Responsible to support business process reviews and help the teams align with company policy. Maintain Sarbanes Oxley compliance in regards to the responsibilities of this position, including supporting internal and external audits. Working with business to ensure validity of pricing and basic markdown. Responsible for review of month end sales and gross margin analysis and returns reserve. Ad hoc projects. Ensure all related accounts for foreign currency divisions are valued correctly. Maintain GL mapping in ACS for related divisions. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. MBA preferred. 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in financial analysis and/or cost accounting.
