Interim State & Local Tax Manager (Contract)

Job Description

SNI Certes has partnered with a Far North Dallas client for an Interim Tax (Sales & Use, Property) Tax Manager.
This role starts ASAP and will last approximately months with potential to convert to a permanent position.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Reports to VP Finance
  • Provide operational and analytical support
  • Ensure compliance with applicable tax rules and regulations, including federal taxes, state income and franchise taxes and local taxes including sales and use taxes and property taxes, maintaining business licenses where appropriate
  • Train internal departments on tax matters
  • Coordinating tax examinations
  • Supervise individuals in Tax Department


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • Seven years' state and local tax exp
