Fitness Director - Great Benefits!

Job Description

Talent Recruitment
•Recruit, hire, and train top-notch talent excited about our all-new brand for each of the three modalities.
•Take a minimum of 2 classes per week at other fitness studios to network and attract top talent across the Las Vegas area.
•Monitor staffing levels and hire additional talent, as needed.
Processes & Expectations
•Establish social media requirements across instructors
•Establish incentive model for instructors to aid in member recruitment and retention
•Develop processes to streamline programming across additional Corporate Stores and Franchising
•Develop streamlined system for pass/fail for new instructor auditions and try-outs

Class Formats
•Implement programming of our various HIIT-style class formats (tread and strength, boxing, and cycling). This will include design of a quality assurance plan to ensure these class formats are running in alignment with ***** unique fitness program, cue and style of instructors are on brand, and the like.
•Determine appropriate class format scheduling cadence.
•Monitor success/popularity of class formats and tweak, as needed.
o Recommends ways to encourage greater class participation and maintain interest in the overall fitness programming at ***** Fitness.
o Maintains records of class participants? recommendations and feedback.
Talent Development, Continuing Education, and Ensuring Quality Across the Brand
•Take classes regularly at ***** Fitness to demonstrate support, be a familiar face to members and to provide constructive feedback and kudos to fitness instructor talent.
•Monitor classes as another means to providing constructive feedback and kudos to fitness instructor talent.
•Develop fresh upgrades to class format programming regularly.
•Design and implement relevant skills seminars.
•Conducts periodic inspections of all studio equipment.
Schedule Management
•Develop robust schedule with valued instructors while working within a weekly fitness instructor budget.
•Determine appropriate class format scheduling cadence.
•Monitor success/popularity of class formats and tweak, as needed.
Teaching
•Teach several classes per week, helping to keep you actively engaged in the overall fitness programming program; to ensure your presence is frequent to members and fitness instructors alike; and to ease impact of teaching expenditures on the overall
You Have:
•Experience leading, teaching, motivating, and managing a team;
•A demonstrated mastery of two of the three group fitness modalities;
•A level of comfort reporting to top management, but would describe yourself with characteristics like: creative, self-starting, organized, ambitious, and proactive;
•A successful track record of creating and selling fitness programs, hitting revenue and unit goals, and assisting in building a strong base of members/clientele;
•Comfortability in hiring, firing, and providing constructive feedback to team members;
•A dedication to working well with others, listening to various points of view and handling dissenting points of view in a professional way;
•Experience managing subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs, helping them to grow and improve through frequent feedback, recognition, and other coaching activities.
