Financial Reporting Manager

Compensation: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year

Locally headquartered company in the Raleigh area seeks a results-oriented, strong Financial Reporting Manager for an immediate opening. In this role, you will be responsible for leading daily accounting operations, including preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties.   • Drive and manage the accounting team?s performance of the close process to meet close deadlines
  • Compile, review and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Prepare financial statements and related footnotes in accordance with GAAP
  • Prepare various technical accounting analyses, policies and procedures
  • Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
  • Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation and reconciliation processes
  • Additional related projects as assigned. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
  • CPA certification required
  • Minimum 7 years of recent relevant experience. Ideal candidates will have spent time in public accounting.
  • Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation
  • Solid technology and analytical abilities

    - Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset - Expertise in financial reconciliation - Financial reporting experience desired - Strong problem solving and analytical skills - CPA/MBA preferred - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience - Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable - Proven technical skills - 7+ years of recent relevant financial experience
