Robert Half Management Resources has an immediate need for a Financial Planning and Analysis Director for one of our large clients located in Wilsonville. This interim placement is expected to last six months. This is a highly visible role in this organization and you will be working directly with the top executives to provide insight and recommendations to help lead the business regarding strategic and tactical managment issues. Duties Responsibilities: ? Operate as a financial leader/resource with strong expertise in accounting issues faced by manufacturing environments including cost accounting, inventory management, revenue recognition, variance analysis, etc. ? Develop financial and business processes to improve operating efficiency and quality reporting. ? Work extensively with operations personnel to assure issues that may impact quarterly and annual forecasts are addressed early to increase likelihood forecasts will be achieved or exceeded. ? Coordinate and manage the Division?s financial statements. ? Assist business unit leadership in establishing operating plans and budgets. ? Present monthly and quarterly financial statements, forecasts and analytical reports to the Commercial Business Unit Finance Leader and the GM. Provide recommendations for improving overall performance and profitability. ? Support audit requirements. The FP A Director will also: ? Communicate clearly and effectively at all levels within finance and the business leadership, and capable of making presentations Senior Management. ? Be an analytical thinker who has the ability to manage internal financial operations while also focusing on the external aspects of a publicly held organization. ? Articulate, persuasive, and able to build confidence with the financial staff and the executive management team. ? Have the ability to quickly command respect and credibility through intellectual acumen, business knowledge, and practical understanding of both the financial and operational aspects of a business. ? Leverage financial tools (SAP, PowerBI) to drive accountability and identify areas for improvement. ? Have a hands-on pragmatic approach to business, asset management, cash flow, and profitability.
