Description:

Functions as plant’s first contact in matters related to environmental, health and safety compliance. Acts as liaison with all Federal, State and local environmental, health & safety agencies and coordinates all necessary reporting requirements. Contributes to the attainment of plant safety goals. Assists management in the development, implementation, review and continuous improvement of EHS policies, procedures and programs. Functions plant wide on specific project assignments related to EHS requirements. Under Quality and Environmental Objectives for TMUS as defined in QS PR 2000, this position will assist EHS Manager in meeting requirements for products/processes. The work schedule for this position is typically Monday through Friday and may require performing work outside of normal business hours, including weekends. Some travel may be required when necessary.

Top Skills Details:

1. 3-5 years’ EHS experience, 2 as manager OR 5-7 years’ experience in EHS Field if no manager experience.

2. Hazmat & OSHA experience

3. Manufacturing setting or similar experience

4. Forklift a plus

5. CA workers compensation experience/knowledge

6. Degree: AA/BS in EHS related field OR no degree with 2-3 years more experience overall. (7 years in EHS related role)
