Director of Training

Compensation: $155,000.00 to $175,000.00 per year

The Training Director will be responsible for leading and managing the Training Instructional Design Team and the Regional Training Team. This position is responsible for providing strategy, vision and leadership to ensure the development and execution of all training programs and in furthering the Company?s goals and initiatives. In addition to training and facilitation experience, this hands-on leader will bring expertise with virtual learning environments, learning management systems, curriculum development, learner engagement and assessment. - Manages a professional, efficacious, results-driven Training Department that establishes clear goals, accountability standards and requires quality conduct and work product from its Team Members. - Collaborates with Executive Management, Compliance, Human Resources and other Departments in defining strategies and ensuring alignment in the development, implementation, scheduling and assessment of the enterprise-wide Training Program. - Develops and implements Training strategy, vision, plans and documented procedures. - Provides day to day leadership and management to the Training Team (Design, Program Managers and Regional Trainers), incorporating core values and supporting business goals and strategies. - Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of training design and processes. - Fosters an environment of strong Customer service (both internally and externally). - Actively supports a workplace culture to ensure Moneytree?s Mission and values are supported. - Ongoing evaluation of course materials to ensure content stays relevant and the delivery method is effective, efficient, and is current in relation to marketplace and Team Member expectations. - Develops applicable training to fill gaps including Moneytree systems and processes. - Participates in evaluating new training and development programs. Provides recommendations on changes to accomplish Company goals and objectives. - Evaluates procedures and documentation to improve the accuracy and on timely delivery of new training material and revised training materials. - Provide mentoring to the Team. - Executes management tasks in an accurate and timely manner. - Manages financial resources/budgets effectively. - Manages, communicates and implements all company policies and processes. - Performs other duties as assigned or as the situation dictates. - Stays up to date with the latest instructional technologies and provides unprompted recommendations to Senior Management on the latest and most applicable trends in training and development for consideration in the Company?s overall strategies.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in business or related field - 7+ years providing and leading adult learning programs: - Via multiple methodologies To Team Members with varied backgrounds and job experience levels that range from first time-employment to 30 plus years To Team Members with varied educational backgrounds that range from no high school or equivalent certification to doctoral-level To Team Members in multiple and separated geographical locations - High level of maturity and proven ability to work in a positive, motivating manner with others - Planning, project management and project execution experience - Experience designing content and activities for remote training, eLearning and virtual classrooms - Understanding of adult learning theory and development planning - Experience with modern learning solutions including micro-learning, experiential learning solutions, and video-based learning platforms - Proficiency with learning management systems and content authoring tools - Excellent interpersonal skills - Excellent time management and organizational skills with an eye for detail - Strong level of accountability and initiative - Excellent and adaptable written, verbal communication and presentation skills - Ability to manage change with a high level of positivity and efficacy - Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. - Ability to facilitate live learning sessions using modern learning approaches - Creative, innovative problem-solving skills - Experience with MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, Captivate (or the like) - Some travel required
