SCA, a leader in the outpatient surgery industry, strategically partners with health plans, medical groups and health systems across the country to develop and optimize surgical facilities. Accountabilities / Responsibilities

The Director of Supply Chain will oversee a team and is responsible for conducting opportunity assessments, determining sourcing needs, developing and implementing sourcing strategies and programs, and managing systems supporting the sourcing process.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field required
  • MBA and/or Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive strategic sourcing and category management experience
  • Strong understanding of the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) or healthcare industry preferred
  • Experience working with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) preferred
  • Experience in the use of ERP technology to examine and analyze data to identify opportunities, evaluate the results of sourcing strategies, and implement appropriate program changes/PeopleSoft experience preferred
  • Expert in Microsoft applications with working knowledge of industry standard contract management, materials management, and reporting software
