Director of Social Media

As an ideal candidate, you blend journalistic instincts and analytical thinking with a proven ability to turn new and imaginative ideas into reality. As a passionate social media advocate, you possess the ability to guide the development of both long-term and in-the-moment campaigns from concept through implementation, working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. o Develop and drive social engagement strategy to ensure targeted user growth, reach, and overall social engagement. o Ensure social strategies are in continual alignment with business objectives. o Measure, evaluate and report performance across social platforms. o Lead the creation, curation and management of all published social content. Collaborate with other team members to create original content. o Develop approach to engaging with followers (e.g., responding to questions or comments), in partnership with customer care and other relevant internal teams. o Maintain social content governance, including creation and maintenance of editorial calendars, style guides, and messaging. o Passionately promote the brand promise and messages throughout the social media landscape. o Direct and manage budgets for creative agencies, third-party vendors, and other suppliers.

Job Requirements

Minimum of 6-8 years of experience developing and executing social media and influencer marketing communication strategies and campaigns. o Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism or related field o Proven experience working within various social media platforms as well as with social media management tools (e.g., Sprinklr). o Clear understanding of all aspects of content marketing, social, influence marketing, and communications, including omni-channel and marketing automation principles. o Ability to develop big ideas and bring them to fruition. o Experience identifying meaningful, actionable insights within past social media campaigns. o Deep understanding of social media platforms, including their respective strengths and weaknesses. o Ability to influence, while building internal and external relationships. o Ability to identify a potentially negative or crisis situation originating in social media, and engage cross-functionally to mitigate or resolve the issue.
