Director of Sales

Compensation: $150,000.00 to $175,000.00 per year

- Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual overview of sales performance including activity reports that measure new distribution, current distribution, scheduled appointments, promotions, advertising, spending, action plans, travel calendar, etc. - Directs the implementation and execution of sales policies and practices, creating a sales methodology, tools, technology, and infrastructure. - Implement and maintains pricing strategies with all accounts evaluating opportunities for margin growth. - Manages sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly for employees, independent representatives and new and existing customers. - Manage and develop a highly engaged sales team with expert product knowledge, excellent customer service skills, clear financial and customer objectives while ensuring developmental opportunities and career growth paths. - Partners with marketing team to create targeted advertising and promotional activities ensuring marketing communications and programs are coordinated and executed to drive sales growth. - Establishes, maintains and improves relationships with key decision makers such as buyers and merchandisers at big box, specialty, and e-commerce accounts resulting in the development of strong partnerships that are mutually beneficial and create growth. ? - Analyzes new market and channel opportunities, creating a targeted, robust approach to penetrate and develop new accounts, industries, and markets - Participate in leadership meetings to guide daily prioritization of important matters

Job Requirements

- Experience building a sales function with proven growth developing and growing an organization. - Results driven with a proven record of accomplishment of over-achieving goals. - Development experience with proven track record of building a team. - Executive presence, with demonstrated success presenting to, influencing and collaborating with clients to achieve deliverables. - Leadership qualities with a demonstrated ability to guide or make decisions and achieve closure. - Ability to lead others and develop strategies. - Demonstrated success collaborating with teams to achieve stakeholder expectations. Client-centric mentality: reliable, professional, exceeds expectations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Deep analytical experience producing meaningful insights that drive decision making. Strong attention to detail.
