Director of Sales and Marketing

Compensation: $75000.00 to $110000.00 yearly

Key Responsibilities:
o Direct sales activities within assigned area, set expectations, provide guidance, establish accurate plans and forecasts, prioritize efforts, hold the team accountable for building pipeline and executing each phase of the sales process, drive short-term and long-term results to maximize overall territory growth objectives.
o Work as a team for the most efficient use and deployment of resources; collaborate with product management, marketing, and engineering teams to deliver company goals.
o Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, partners, and competitors; develop proactive
strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
o Deliver accurate forecasting, pipeline management and campaign nurturing.
o Drive new models and process to produce an achievable, scalable sales “machine.”
o Accurately forecast quarterly, and annual revenue numbers for assigned region based on
expertise in qualification and sales process review.
o Foster teamwork across organizations, cultures, and geographies

Requirements:
o 10+ years total software sales experience and 5+ years of true management experience for a high
growth technology company
o Experience in the academic, scholarship and/or government contracting sales space
o Experience with selling software products and cloud applications services.
o Highly motivated self-starter.
o Previous sales experience selling software technology, cloud application services, government contracting IT Solutions, grant and scholarship technology sales, data analysis, or advanced analytics.
o Outstanding track record of consistently meeting/exceeding sales quotas personally and as a
Sales leader.
o Exude an entrepreneurial business savvy, operating within a start-up or hyper growth
environment
o A bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University.
