Robert Half Management Resources has an IMMEDIATE consulting opportunity for a Director of Payroll for a Louisville area client. As the Interim Director of Payroll, you will manage the day to day payroll operations for approximately 50,000 employees across the US and Puerto Rico. Key Responsibilities: ? Manages multi-state payroll functions to approximately 50,000 employees (includes unions) across the U.S. and throughout Puerto Rico ? Manages time and attendance, labor and payroll costs and ensuring compliance of internal controls and Federal, State and local laws ? Plans and coordinates integrated quarterly and year end processing, 1099, W-2 and W-2c processing ? Coordinates all payroll related functions relative to the acquisition of new businesses/operations, including diligence, integration and customer service to the new partners ? Provides strong leadership and development to the team

Job Requirements

? Bachelor's degree in a related field required, advance degree preferred ? Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) strongly preferred ? 8-10 years of experience managing with a transaction driven or services-oriented function ? Minimum 5 years of experience managing a large payroll in a multi-state environment ? Experience with payroll outsourcing ? Multi-state knowledge of payroll and payroll tax principles, practices, regulations and procedures required ? Experience with ADP and Kronos systems preferred ? Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel
