The Creative Group is hiring a Director of Public Relations and Influencer Strategy. As the Director of Public Relations Influencer Strategy, you will resourcefully drive global brand awareness through communications strategies including online and offline media relations, celebrity clientele and influencer programs. Through your in-depth experience and knowledge using topics of public interest, you will increase our exposure to existing and new audiences and media. Your aim is to persuade the public, celebrities, employees, and other stakeholders to maintain a prestige point of view about the company and its products. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Overview: ? Responsible for developing and executing media relations strategy, including developing story ideas, pitching reporters, preparing and staffing executives for interviews, analyzing press trends and opportunities ? Continue to grow the strong celebrity clientele presence at the Clinic. Develop and maintain relationships with VIP clients. ? Establish and maintain strong working relationships with broadcast, print and online editors and journalists with a focus on core beauty and entertainment media. ? Work with the media every day to pitch stories, monitor trends and create reports ? Develop press launch strategies for all new products, including launch events and media outreach in order to secure prominent press in relevant media. ? Secure brand product features and placements in media. ? Manage PR and Influencer budget. Influencers Brand Partnerships ? Identify strategic partnerships with like-minded influencers (core and influencer networks) ? Negotiate and prepare influencer agreements for content production and activations ? Manage and develop contracted influencers as well as deploy campaigns leveraging macro and micro influencer platforms ? Report on influencer activities including earned media value content creation, influencer reach, and engagement ? Identify co-brand partnerships to expand brand awareness on all platforms Skills, Experience and Education Required ? 10 years of related beauty PR experience including 2-4 years of hands-on digital experience driving brand awareness and customer acquisition with campaigns across social media and influencer networks. ? Must have a solid network of media relations, including editors from East and West coast ? Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills. ? Demonstrated experience developing omnichannel campaign strategy across social platforms, search, content marketing platforms, public relations, and events. ? Must have a demonstrated excellence in writing and coordination of multi-pronged communication strategies. ? Precise attention to detail, strategic thinking, organizational and conceptual development skills and ability to follow through and complete multiple tasks and goals. ? Excellent media relations and event execution skills, budget management, idea generation and image building a necessity. ? A strong interest and understanding of the beauty/fashion/lifestyle arena.
