Our client is seeking an interim Director of Human Resources for a three-month contract role for a non-profit healthcare organization in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Providing leadership, and strategic direction for the Human Resources department, ensuring services are delivered in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, regulatory agents and professional standards. ? Responsible for the management, development, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of Human Resources administrative policies and procedures. ? Advises and assists the Leadership team in the implementation and problem solving related to Human Resources policies and procedures. ? Serves as strategic resource to CEO and FHC Leadership ensuring HR policies, practices, and programs are aligned to meet business unit goals and support CEO?s strategic direction. ? Participates as an active member of the FHC Leadership Team advising and assisting in the development, implementation and problem solving related to Human resource policies, procedures, and practices. ? Responsible for the following employee activities: hiring, employee relations, disciplinary actions, grievances, complaints/investigations and terminations. Serves as liaison between staff and management as necessary. ? Identifies and recommends process improvements to simplify various human resources processes.

Job Requirements

? Ability to anticipate, think strategically, and challenge appropriately in support of organizational goals. ? Sound business acumen and demonstrated abilities to develop partnerships and influence all levels of the organization. ? Ability to develop HR strategy and vision to support business strategies and goals. ? Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others at all levels within the organization, across different cultures and socio-economic backgrounds. ? Demonstrated ability to direct and successfully manage multiple projects on time and within budget. ? Must possess sound coaching and counseling skills. ? Demonstrated experience designing, and implementing effective programs, systems, and initiatives. ? Prior experience managing multiple locations preferred. ? Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field ? 7 or more years of progressive experience in managing the Human Resources
