Compensation: $85,000.00 to $125,000.00 per year

Maintains liaison between the customer and their representatives and the venue by directing each department within the venue as to their specific role in the pre-planning and execution of on-site events. Maximizes revenues and controls expenses through effective negotiation of services and accurate forecasting. Responsible for successful execution of event and customer satisfaction to ensure customer remains loyal and books future business with venue/company. Develop, implement, and market concepts for events to supporters Leverage existing network in tandem with developing new contacts within Corporate Events Work local Key Influencers including Hotels, Convention Visitor Bureaus, Chambers, Retail Outlets, Office Buildings, and Condo/Apartment buildings Work closely with sales managers and coordinators to generate new business and maintain contact with present accounts Ensures excellence in client/guest satisfaction through effective training of staff, commitment to a ?Do Whatever It Takes attitude? and a hands-on, lead by example management style. Identify qualifying business potential, closing business, overcoming objections, negotiating, upselling and understanding the client?s needs through Features-Adjectives-Benefits selling Manage business on the books successfully and work pipeline of Inquiries, Prospects, Tentative and Definite bookings Supervise, train, evaluate, and recognize staff, especially in events marketing and sales strategies. Plan, approve and monitor event budget and revenue. Create and sustain productive relationships and negotiate contracts with event-related clients, vendors, companies, and supporters. Responsible for all catered functions from organization to execution, including delegation of responsibilities
