Robert Half Finance and Accounting is looking for a Director of Financial Planning for a Westchester Based Utilities company. the Director of Financial Planning will be responsible for preparing financial forecasts and aiding executive in decisions. Additional responsibilities include: Creating and maintaining financial models, valuations and other in-depth financial and data analysis Work closely with senior management to develop long-term strategic plans, annual budgets, operational analysis and reporting Drive monthly/quarterly financial forecast cycle and financial reporting to senior leadership and Board of Directors. Owning all aspects of financial model, including revenue an expense builds Provide decision support across business functions through valued added analysis and deep financial insights. Advise and drive financial analysis on new product and services offerings. Identify, analyze and interpret meaningful financial trends in the industry and propose action plans for improvement. Monitor and report key metrics to measure health of business. Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance. CPA or MBA strongly preferred. 10+ years of progressively responsible finance and accounting experience is required. Position requires demonstrated experience at the Director level in a finance or accounting capacity. Prior experience leading and developing a staff. Position requires excellent interpersonal and communications skills, sound judgment and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced dynamic environment. The ability to effectively use deliberate influence strategies to impact, shape, or re-direct the behaviors of others, without formal authority. Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills. Advanced Microsoft Office and working knowledge of Oracle general ledger and financial reporting systems, Essbase, Smartview, Hyperion Reports and Planning
