Job Description

Tactical responsibilities of the Director of Business Development (DBD) will include prospecting, cold calling, setting/running appointments with key contacts and decision makers, managing the RFX process and attending industry events. The successful candidate will design, build and deliver client-focused presentations and ultimately play a dominant role in closing opportunities in a consultative fashion. The DBD is responsible for maintaining a high level of daily activity associated with executing the full lifecycle sales process. This includes collaborating with executive management to develop systematic sales plans, strategies and defined processes for achieving desired business objectives. The DBD will develop a robust pipeline and drive market share by securing new business opportunities. The DBD will be expected to monitor market intelligence, research trends, and best practices, read business publications, seek out learning and development opportunities and utilize internal resources to be more effective and successful in their role. The DBD will act as a trusted advisor by consulting with key decision makers to understand their critical business issues and strategic objectives. The DBD will design and implement an effective enterprise-wide strategy that demonstrates the value delivered by Allegis Global Solutions, drives business results and provides clients with a high return on their investment.
 

Responsibilities 

  • Work closely with our Sourcing Manager, Marketing team and other Allegis Group companies to identify and qualify new opportunities for the RPO team. 
  • Secure meetings and travel to meet with C-Suite, VP and Director level contacts to discuss their RPO and talent acquisition opportunities 
  •  Work with our Executive Directors and Sales Support team to build and facilitate sales presentations. 
  • Support the full life cycle BD process and work closely with other Executive Directors of BD to close an opportunity once it is qualified. 
  •  Be able to recognize and respond to integrated talent opportunities that incorporate AGS’ RPO, MSP & SOW service offerings 
  • Manage the RPO RFX process and work closely with Sales Support and a cross-functional team to win new business. 
  • Develop loyal and lasting client relationships 
  • Track and monitor all opportunities in CRM (Salesforce) 
  • Support the full life cycle BD process and work closely with other Executive Directors of BD to close an opportunity once it is qualified. 
  • Be able to recognize and respond to integrated talent opportunities that incorporate AGS’ RPO, MSP & SOW service offerings
  • Manage the RPO RFX process and work closely with Sales Support and a cross-functional team to win new business.


Qualifications
  • 10+ years of Human Capital experience with significant exposure to the RPO industry 
  • Global exposure preferred 
  • Proven ability to work within a strong culture that has established BD processes 
  • Experience working with multiple internal functional leaders to collaborate on the solution design in support of our integrated sales process. 
  • Previous experience in the recruitment, executive search and/or corporate human resources industries preferred 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word) 
  •  Experience working independently and within a team environment to manage all aspects of a sales cycle 
  • Strong written and verbal/presentation skills 
  • Ability to write client oriented communications 
  • Ability to give presentations to clients ranging in group size of one to fifteen (1-15) 
  • Proven ability to multi-task, perform under pressure and manage tight deadlines 
  • Ability to interact with people at all levels of an organization and to develop strong client relationships 
  •  Ability to think creatively in order to influence and shape business decisions for clients 
  • Ability to perform independently and within a team environment 
  •  College education preferred 
  • Other related industry designations, certificates, licenses or course work helpful 
  • Demonstrates high levels of integrity and character 
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service 
  • Tenacious 
  • Goal/results oriented 
  • Organized, with strong attention to detail
