Digital Marketing Manager
As a Digital Marketing Manager on the Marketing team, you will be responsible for supporting and executing national marketing strategies for our business' automotive auction products. You will bring your proven creative, analytical and project management capabilities to imagine, plan, implement and optimize compelling digital campaigns. You will do so with a heighten focus on email marketing that drives customer acquisition and engagement for our initiatives, products and our brands. The ideal candidate is a seasoned email marketer with a passion for all digital marketing and proven experience of building and using scalable tools to increase brand recognition, product adoption and engagement for B2B audiences.
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Omnichannel Marketing, The Digital Marketing Manager will be accountable for our digital platforms leading today's email strategy and deployment, with a programmatic approach to managing campaign needs. S(he) will also help us in building 'tomorrow's' Omnichannel ability with a focus on SMS, Social and web strategy and deployment. This person will also work internally in a cross-functional manner, collaborating with national teams across Product, Brand, and Field Marketing as well as other internal stakeholders to target appropriate customers and deliver email marketing campaigns that drive product awareness and impact. Lastly, this person will own testing and collaborate on measurement, optimizing for what drives engagement and reporting the impact of the email marketing initiatives on the business growth.
o Collaborate with marketing partners to understand their products and the customer experience when applying, activating and using the auction products
o Develop and execute high-impact email campaigns that inspire consumers and drive activation and customer engagement for their tools and initiatives
o Use data and insights to develop a deep understanding of the email channel and translate those insights into innovative customer campaigns
o Develop rigorous testing programs to analyze campaign effectiveness across multiple dimensions (e.g. audience segment, channel, etc.) and continually test, analyze and optimize tactics to maximize ROI
o Establish the KPIs for campaign performance tracking, reporting on these and key launch success metrics often
o Work with other company stakeholders to develop strategies to grow touchpoints and improve content creation efficiency to achieve team goals
o Be able to move quickly to adapt our business operations to keep pace with industry changes
o Self-starter, with the ability to take initiative to understand and solve problems
o 5+ years relevant work experience in email marketing
o 3+ years' experience managing email campaigns in a marketing automation platform
o Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or other related field or equivalent experience
o Experience developing email marketing programs for a large brand or business
o Strong analytic and quantitative skills - ability to use data to develop and measure marketing programs
o Advanced level Excel skills
