The full-time Controller position is situated in the Eagle, Idaho area. Your responsibilities in this role - Complete month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, reconcile accounts, and handle G/L analysis - Respond on items beyond formal job responsibilities - Assess, execute and streamline policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies - Present executive committee and partners with monthly financial reports - Manage the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to make sure cash collection is on time - Prepare cash-flow reports that project cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and handle daily cash management - Manage the creation of and monthly monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts - Advance Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as needed, with research, planning and implementation - Oversee the activities of the finance department, such as accounts payable, billings collections, and payroll - Review and revise deliverables of self and team to ensure that they meet client expectations - Work closely with executive team and partners to ensure efficient and successful firm-wide operation Call Lauren at Robert Half at 208-336-9220 or email your resume to [Click Here to Email Your Resumé]

Job Requirements

- Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued - CPA or MBA preferred - Sound written and verbal communication skills - BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field - Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment - General ledger experience highly desired - Deep understanding of forecasting - Well-founded grasp of job costing - Foundational knowledge in month end closings - Proven knowledge of account reconciliation - Expertise in financial reporting - Solid understanding of licensing - Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines - Outstanding technology, analytics and management experience required - Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems - Progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred - Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks - Skilled in the construction and delivery of effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds - Extraordinary analytical, quantitative and social skills
