Consultant, Legal Advisory Services

Job Description

This position is responsible for providing support to the Transform Advisory Services team in all aspects of the delivery and implementation of various consulting-based services. Responsibilities include delivery of client services, such as market research, client and vendor interaction, and preparing drafts of various documents.

  • Document insights/processes for internal and external audiences
  • Ensure accurate tracking of project estimates
  • Assess impact of changes for in-progress project estimates, document reasons for changes in estimates, and communicate to delivery leadership and finance team
  • Produce reports on project portfolio to identify current trends and evaluate variances
  • Assists in the production and preparation presentation materials for client meetings, pitches and general presentations (involves proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Communicate with clients to manage tactical issues on projects and ensure the end results meet their needs
  • Understand the client position thoroughly, and execute on project accordingly
  • Performs market research and develops prospect research reports
  • Helps to develop new solutions for service offerings
  • Analyze client data and synthesize findings into benchmarking reports
  • Keep abreast of technology developments for feature and functionalities as applicable to client work
  • Keep abreast of developments in talent coaching and corporate cultural initiatives
  • Analytical support – provide various types of analysis in support of tactical and strategic decisions of delivery leadership
  • Participate in and, when required, lead client meetings
  • Curate and track thought leadership articles and materials related to the Transform offerings (i.e., maintain library of internal and customer facing content)
  • Develop an expert knowledge of the Transform Advisory Services market
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

  • Four-year college degree required
  • Previous experience in a client facing role that requires delivering results and meeting deadlines
  • Preferably 1-2 years of previous experience working at a professional services or consulting firm
  • J.D. or Advanced Degree a plus
Requisite Abilities and/or Skills:

  • Ability to meet deadlines and produce high quality work
  • Extraordinary dedication to client service
  • Detail oriented, no detail is too small
  • Strong project management skills
  • Flexibility in dealing with shifting priorities
  • Self-starter
  • Team oriented and collaborative
  • Excellent research skills and experience
  • Ability and willingness to travel (20-30%)
